The EPA considers waste to be hazardous if it exhibits one or more of the following characteristics:

• Ignitability – Can it catch on fire?
• Reactivity – Might a chemical reaction occur under normal circumstances or upon contact with air or water?
• Corrosivity – Will it destroy or damage other compounds it contacts?
• Toxicity – Can it poison living organisms?

California Laboratory Services provide full-service environmental hazardous waste treatment analysis for properties affected by hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), and microbial contaminants. We work with Strict adherence to EPA and Standard Methods. All tests are SW-846 compliant.
